Liverpool have been watched live by the third highest number
of fans since the Premier League began, new statistics reveal.
Tonight's fixtures at the Stadium of Light and Villa Park
will see the Premier League welcome its 250 millionth fan through the
turnstiles, 20 years on from its inception in August 1992.
In that time, Liverpool have hosted 16,491,290 fans - third
only to Manchester United (24,397,959) and Arsenal (17,036,537).
