David Platt - On the back of his impressive displays for England at Italia '90, Platty secured a big-money move to lowly Bari. After Bari got relegated he moved to Juventus then Sampdoria.
Chris Waddle - Still adored in Marseille, where he spent three years wowing the locals with his silky mullet and equally silky skills.
Gary Lineker - The Leicester born striker moved to Barcelona in 1986, having dazzled the world with his goal-poaching instincts at the World Cup in Mexico.

Keegan - The 'Mighty Mouse' spent three fruitful seasons in Germany, during
which time he won the European Footballer of the Year award.

Charles – Juve fans voted Charles their best ever foreign player, ahead of
greats like Zinedine Zidane and Michel Platini. The Welshman spent five years
with Juve, in which time he scored 93 goals.
