Liverpool and Arsenal could be among the clubs planning to
swoop in on AC Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini.
The French midfielder hinted that he is open to leaving the
Rossoneri although he is likely to see out the rest of the season with the
Italian giants.
Flamini has Premier League experience having spent four
seasons at Arsenal and so would be an attractive option for a number of clubs.
His form at AC has nosedived and so would relish the chance
to play top-flight football again.
In an interview with L'Equipe, Flamini said: "Right now
I am at Milan and what counts is finishing the first half of the season in the
best way possible. Marseille? For now I am here, then we'll see.
"In a career there can be difficult moments, but it's a
marathon not a sprint and I have no intention of pulling back. I remain
concentrated so I can prove the coach can count on me."
Flamini has been limited to just two starts for AC this
season.
